Wealth Mantras # 2 Rich people play the money game to win, Poor people play the money game to not lose.

Poor people play the money game on defense rather than offense. Their primary concern is survival and security instead of creating wealth and abundance.

So, what is your goal? What is your objective? What is your true intention?

The goal of truly rich people is to have massive wealth & abundance. Not just some money, but lots of money. So what is the goal of poor people? To “Have enough to play the bills….? & on time would be a miracle..!”

Middle class people at least go a step further… too bad it’s a tiny step. Their big goal in life also happens to be their favorite word in the whole wide world. They just want to be “comfortable”. I hate to break the news to you, but there’s a huge difference between being comfortable and being rich.

Comfortable is nice. At least you go out to decent restaurant for a change. But pretty much all you could order was chicken. Now, there’s nothing wrong with chicken, if that’s what you really want. But often it’s not.

In fact, people who are only financially comfortable usually decide on what to eat by looking at the right-hand side of the menu- the price side. “What would you like for dinner tonight, dear?’ “I’ll have this Rs. 250/- dish. Let’s see what it is. Surprise, surprise, it’s the chicken, “for the 3rd time this month!

When you’re comfortable, you don’t allow your eyes to look at the bottom of the menu, for if you did, you might come cross the most forbidden words in the middle-class dictionary: market price! And even if you were curious, you’d never ask what the price actually is. First, because you know you can’t afford it. Second, it’s downright embarrassing when you know the waiter doesn’t believe you when he tells you the dish is Rs.750/- with side dishes extra and you say, “You know what, for some reason, I have a real craving for chicken tonight!”

I have to say that for me personally, one of the best things about being rich is not having to look at the price on the menu anymore. I eat exactly what I want to eat regarding of the price. I can assure you, I didn’t do that when I was broke or comfortable.

It boils down to this: If your goal is to be comfortable, chances are you’ll never get rich. But if you goal is to be rich, chances are you’ll end up mighty comfortable.

Wealth Mantras #3 Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich

Wealth mantras # 1 Rich people believe “I create my life.” Most others believe “Life happens to me.”

To achieve any success in life, whether it is personal or financial you have to be at the steering wheel of your life. If you don’t take yourself on the driving seat then I guarantee that “you have very little or no control over your life and therefore you have very little or no control over your financial success. Believe me this is not a rich attitude.

Did you ever notice that usually poor people spend a fortune playing a lottery? They spend a lot of money over the lottery to win out of their luck. I am sure everyone wants to win the lottery and every rich person play it for a fun once in a while. But they do not spend a lot over a lottery and most important they play for fun and not winning a lottery.

You have to believe that you are the one who creates your success OR mediocrity OR creating your struggle around money and success. Consciously or unconsciously it’s only YOU. Instead of really taking responsibility of what’s really going on in their lives, most people play the role of victim. They always try to pity themselves and grab sympathy from people around them. Believe me by the virtue of law of intention “You get exactly what you want. That’s very less money or being poor.” I have said it very clear here that “they are not victims, but they play the victim because they feel that they get something.

So let’s try and analyze when you know that the people are playing victims. There are three different clues.
  • When it comes to why they are not rich or why do they did not do any event successfully is that they play a “Blame Game”. For them it’s always someone else or something else that is to blame. But it is important to note that “problem is anything or anyone but them.
  • If Victims are not blaming you will find them justifying or rationalizing their situation by saying something like “Money’s not really important.” It is very important to note that – If you keep saying that your close friends, your spouse, your partner or even your boyfriend or a girlfriend is not so important to you, would any one of them be around for a long? I don’t think so, neither would money.
  • Third and most worst possible clue they give is they keep on Complaining. Why complaining is so worst. Let me explain. I am big believer in the universal law which states “What you focus on expands.” When you are complaining, what are you focusing on, what is right in your life or what is wrong with your life? While you are complaining you are focusing on what is wrong in your life and by the law of universe; you keep focusing on your problems and thus you keep getting more of wrong in your life.
For every action done in your life you have a reward kept aside by universe especially for you.  So what people get out of being a victim? The answer is just an attention or a plain sympathy. But believe me it is virtually impossible to be truly happy and successful when you are constantly demanding for attention. Because of its attention you want, you are at mercy of others. You usually end up as a “people pleasure” begging for approval.
It is high time now to decide. You can be a victim or you can be rich. But you can’t be both. Every time you blame, justify or complain, you are walking away from your financial success.
So friends just try and stay away from being victim which will be a hurdle in your financial success.

Basics needed to understand Wealth Files

Before we begin to discuss on what the wealth files are, I request you to re visit all the blogs which I have posted earlier. All the time I have posted that, everything begins with your thoughts – which are produced by your mind. It is very amazing that our mind is pretty much basis for our life and yet most of us don’t know how this powerful apparatus functions?

So let’s take a look at how your mind works. Basically mind is nothing more than a big file cabinet. Just similar to what you would find in your office or at home. All information comes in is labeled and filed in folders so that it’s easy to retrieve to help you survive. It is very clearly said here that, information is used just to survive.

In every situation you go to the files in your mind to determine how you respond. Just for example, you are considering an opportunity in the area of real estate. Immediately you sense the opportunity, you will go to your mind where the related information on real estate is stored. Based on the information which is stored in your mind you take a decision. Thus it is always said that, “You can only do what you know and when you know more you do more”

You decide based on what you believe is logical, sensible and appropriate for you at that point of time. You make what you think is right choice. But the problem is that the right choice you make is not a successful choice. In fact what makes a perfect sense to you may consistently produce perfectly poor result.

If you analyze this very closely, you all do whatever you know. This in turn becomes your habit. Most people understand we are creatures of habit, but they don’t realize that there are two types of habits; doing habits and not-doing habits. Everything you are “Not Doing” right now, you are in habit of “Not Doing”.

The only way to change these not-doing habits is into doing habits is to do them. I will be posing 17 different doing habits in my future blogs. During all these blogs I will be writing on mentality of rich, poor and middle class person. This will specifically clarify you on how different people think and act rather than the actual amount of money they have got.
